Appleton Alumni Association

For Appleton residents attending a 4-year college or university or a 2-year college or vocational technical school (must be a current resident of Appleton).

Appleton Village School Scholarship

Open to Appleton Village School graduates from the 8th grade class of 2014 who are attending any post-graduate educational program.

Ken Bailey Memorial Scholarship

Open to any student enrolling in a 2-year or 4-year college, vocational or technical school who has shown academic achievement, participation in school activities, community service; demonstrates financial need.  Awarded to a student pursuing a career in law enforcement, environmental studies or conservation law enforcement.

Gardner Brown Memorial Scholarship

For Appleton residents of good character seeking post-secondary education.

Amilia Buchholz Scholarship for the Arts

Open to a CHRHS student planning to pursue an art education.

Camden Real Estate Scholarship

Any graduating senior may apply. Grades, sports, extracurricular  activities, community involvement and volunteerism will all be taken into consideration.

Children’s House Montessori School Scholarship

Open to a graduating senior at Camden Hills Regional High School who was enrolled and completed at least one school year in either the primary and/or elementary program at Children’s House Montessori School.  Candidates must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to leadership and peace education, as well as high achievement in the classroom. Leadership may take the form of active participation in school and non-school extracurricular activities and sports. A dedication to peace education may be demonstrated by evidence of an active commitment to fostering global understanding, performing service to community, expressing empathy for peers, and a commitment to the proliferation of justice in the world. Please include a paragraph in your scholarship essay describing how Montessori has helped you or was important in your life.

CHRHS Senior Class Scholarship

Traditionally awarded to a senior who contributed the most to CHRHS over the last four years; other criteria may be required as recommended by the current class advisors.

Camden High School Alumni Association

Open to current seniors or post-graduates who are residents of Camden, Rockport, Hope, Appleton or Lincolnville.

CHRHS Latin Club Scholarship

For a member of the CHRHS Latin Club; see Mr. Kinney for more information.

Norman and Mary Clark Scholarship Fund

Open to Appleton residents attending a post high school, vocational or technical training program; if no Appleton students qualify, then Hope students will be considered, then Lincolnville.

Timothy Crockett Memorial Golf Scholarship

For a CHRHS Golf team member going to college; may be a current senior or a post-graduate.

Sarah Doubleday Memorial Scholarship

Based on love of learning, commitment to athletic endeavors, and concern for the welfare of others; for any graduate of CHRHS pursuing a degree at a four-year college or university.

B. Gerry Gushee Memorial Scholarship

For an Appleton resident and current member of the CHRHS band entering a 2-year or 4-year college.

R. Cynthia Gushee Memorial Scholarship

Open to any senior or post-grad who will be attending type of vocational or technical training who has financial need will be considered; residents of Appleton will have first consideration.

Hatchet Mountain Sno-Riders Club Scholarship

For a resident of Hope attending a 2 or 4-year college.

Hope for the Future

Open to a student of good character who attended Hope Elementary School.

Lincolnville Business Group Scholarship

Lincolnville residents preferred, who is attending a 2 or 4-year post secondary program; involved in extracurricular activities as well as community service.

Lincolnville Snowmobile Club Scholarship

Open to Lincolnville residents.

Lincolnville Improvement Association

For a Lincolnville resident; based on academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service and financial need.

Lincolnville Community Foundation Scholarship 

For a Lincolnville resident enrolling in a 2 or 4-year college, university or vocational technical school.

Lincolnville Women’s Club Hazel Peabody Scholarship

Must be a Lincolnville resident attending a 2 or 4- year technical school.

Megunticook Educational Support Program

For any student going into a 2-year college or 2-year technical program.

Frances Perry Trust

Open to students entering a technical or vocational program, fine arts or nursing.

Forest Priestley Memorial Scholarship

Open to any student who shows great perseverance, never gives up, and who is graduating in spite of obstacles. Student approaches life with kindness & courage, has a love of music and has been a member of the CHRHS Cross Country Team.

Chris Remsen Wrestling Scholarship

Open to a current member (or manager) of the CHRHS wrestling team.

Rockport Garden Club

Open to current seniors or post-graduates of CHRHS who are local residents planning to pursue horticultural or environmental education.

David Spear Memorial Scholarship

Open to any student entering trade or vocational school, preferably entering an automotive field, such as: auto body, mechanics, vintage car restoration or motorcycle repair.

Howard Tribou Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to current seniors or alumni of CHRHS in good standing; must be a resident of Camden or Rockport.

Amon Vaughan Memorial Scholarship

Open to any CHRHS graduate who attended MCST and who has been accepted to a post-graduate university, vocational or technical school in the field of Emergency Medical Services or Firefighting Technology.

West Bay Rotary Vocational/Technical Scholarship

This scholarship is for any CHRHS graduate (current senior or Alumni) who is entering any of the following:
Medicine: Fields of science that are considered acceptable  curriculum for pre-med studies  that can later lead to a Doctorate of Medicine or Dentistry,  or nursing or medical technology BS degrees.
2) Engineering:  Academically accepted fields of engineering studies leading to a BS degree.
3) Computer Science:   Academically accepted fields of study  leading to a BS degree. 
4) West Bay Rotary will award  one scholarship specifically to an applicant attending a school in the Maine Community College System where major fields of study lead to a career in a vocational/technical area. 

West Bay Rotary scholarship recipients are expected to make a brief presentation to the West Bay membership, generally during the recipients' Christmas Holiday break AND West Bay scholarship recipients are required to pass a minimum of 15 credit hours and attain a 2.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 grading system.

Windward Gardens

Applicants must be going into the healthcare field; attending an accredited college; good (not outstanding) academic record.
